Job Description

Associated Beth Rivkah Schools is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician / Handyman for ongoing, full-time work in Brooklyn.

We are looking for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who is comfortable troubleshooting problems, completing repairs independently, and working across basic plumbing, electrical, and construction-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs
• Complete basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Perform basic electrical work and troubleshooting
• Assist with construction-related repairs and projects
• Identify maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Complete assigned work independently and efficiently
• Help maintain a safe and functional facility

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on maintenance, handyman, construction, or facilities experience
• Basic experience with commercial/workplace plumbing
• Basic electrical repair and troubleshooting experience
• General construction and repair experience
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently
• Must have your own reliable vehicle
• Valid driver’s license required
• Basic/conversational English required
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible

Pay & Schedule

• $20 per hour
• Full-time position
• Ongoing, consistent work
