Summary:
Seeking a Cleaner/Janitorial Associate with experience in industrial or commercial cleaning. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of buildings and facilities while following company procedures and safety standards. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain building floors, restrooms, windows, furniture, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, remove trash, and perform carpet and floor care.
- Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, ladders, and tools safely and according to procedures.
- Monitor facility cleanliness, safety, and report repair or maintenance needs.
- Support special cleaning projects, client events, and other assigned duties.
Must Have:
- Minimum 1 year of industrial or commercial cleaning experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with ability to obtain required facility/security clearance.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, walk extensively, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to work safely while using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or secure facilities.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
