Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, driven Termite Control Technician to join our expanding team. Termites cause billions of dollars in property damage every year, making this one of the most vital, specialized, and high-demand roles in our company.
In this role, you will work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, utilizing advanced detection and treatment methods to protect residential and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities
- Detailed Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of crawlspaces, basements, attics, and building perimeters to identify termite activity, wood-destroying organisms (WDOs), and conducive conditions.
- Strategic Treatments: Install, monitor, and maintain termite baiting systems and apply liquid soil treatments in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Problem Solving: Read blueprints and property diagrams to determine the most effective treatment plans for complex structures.
- Customer Consultation: Clearly explain inspection findings to homeowners and commercial clients, offering professional recommendations and peace of mind.
- Team Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with management and service teams to meet daily goals, maintaining accurate digital logs of treatments and chemical usage via our route software.
What Are We Looking For (Requirements)
- Growth Mindset: A strong work ethic and a desire to learn a specialized, highly technical trade.
- Physical Agility: Comfortable working in tight spaces (crawlspaces and attics), climbing ladders, and operating specialized equipment (trenches, drills, pumps). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is required to operate our company vehicles.
- Communication Skills: Ability to speak confidently and professionally with customers and team members.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Experience in termite inspection and control services is required
