Spend the weekend in the middle of the action at Wings Over Houston.
GPI Defense is hiring temporary Event Staff and Security Officers to support the airshow at Ellington Airport in Houston, Texas on October 30, October 31, and November 1.
This is a hands-on event assignment working directly with attendees and event operations in a large public environment. Team members will help keep entry points organized, assist guests, support event rules, and help the event run smoothly throughout the day.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Event Staff:
Depending on your assigned area, responsibilities may include
• Assisting with event access control
• Supporting Officers doing walk through metal detectors
• Conducting bag checks
• Helping guests navigate event procedures and entry requirements
• Supporting event rules
• Maintaining an attentive presence throughout assigned areas
• Observing and reporting concerns to Security
Security Officers:
• Access control
• Operating walk-through metal detectors
• Conducting bag checks
• Making a presence throughout assigned areas
• Observing and documenting security issues and incidents

Temporary Event Staff
You should be comfortable working around large crowds, interacting with the public, following event procedures, and staying engaged throughout your assignment.
This is an opportunity to be part of the team behind a major Houston-area event while picking up temporary work over the airshow weekend.
