The Pavilion at Queens in Flushing is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our team!

We are looking for dependable, hands-on individuals with a strong work ethic and basic maintenance experience to help ensure our facility, equipment, and resident living areas are properly maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and proactive maintenance throughout the facility, including basic plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, and mechanical work.

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team under the direction of the Director of Maintenance.

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities with the supervisor, particularly when working in resident living areas.

• Help maintain the facility and equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents.

• Assist with additional maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Respond to routine maintenance needs in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of basic maintenance experience and general maintenance knowledge.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

• Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus.

• Strong time management and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

• Quality-focused with a strong attention to detail.

• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.

• Please note: This is a maintenance position and is NOT an Environmental Services or Housekeeping position.
