GCP IAM Lead / Manager (VP)
Location: Plano, TX
Pay Rate: $88/hr on W2

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced GCP IAM Lead / Manager to own enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) architecture, governance, and delivery across Google Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GCP IAM, RBAC, service accounts, privileged access, Terraform/IaC, and cloud security, along with proven experience leading engineering teams and large-scale IAM onboarding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and define enterprise GCP IAM reference architectures and RBAC models.
- Establish strategies for service accounts, privileged access, and secure access controls.
- Define and govern Terraform/IaC standards for IAM, including reusable modules, safe binding strategies, and drift controls.
- Lead IAM architecture/design reviews and manage security exceptions.
- Lead engineers and coordinate multiple IAM onboarding initiatives, timelines, priorities, and dependencies.
- Partner with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to implement IAM controls.
- Develop operational standards, including runbooks, access recertification, IAM metrics, and incident-response playbooks.
- Drive secure-by-default and scalable IAM practices across enterprise GCP environments.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant Cloud Security/IAM experience.
- Deep hands-on expertise with GCP IAM in large enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with RBAC, IAM policies, service accounts, privileged access, and least-privilege models.
- Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, specifically for IAM.
- Experience defining and governing IAM architecture, standards, policies, and exceptions.
- Proven experience leading engineers and multi-team technical delivery.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, access governance, and audit requirements.
