Quality Improvement and Data Analyst (RN or LPN Preferred)
Job Description
Job Description
About Us
Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia (IHCWV) is a Federally Qualified Health Center with 9 sites across Doddridge, Pleasants, Ritchie, and Wood counties. We provide primary care, behavioral health, telehealth, and school-based health services to our communities.
The Role
We’re looking for an analyst to help us improve patient care and organizational performance. You’ll turn data into action: preparing our HRSA UDS reporting, tracking HEDIS and other quality measures, finding gaps in patient care and working with our care teams to close them, and giving leadership clear financial and operational insight. A nursing background is a real advantage here, because you’ll review charts and help translate the data into changes at the point of care.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, validate, and help submit the annual HRSA UDS report and other state, federal, payer, and grant reporting
- Monitor quality measures, including UDS and HEDIS, by site, provider, and organization
- Identify care gaps, such as overdue screenings and chronic disease measures, and work with providers, nurses, and care teams to close them
- Follow up with payers on open gaps and attest to resolved ones
- Analyze financial and operational performance, including productivity, visit volume, access, payer mix, and billing trends
- Build dashboards and reports for providers, site managers, and leadership
- Lead quality improvement projects using PDSA, root cause analysis, and process mapping
- Audit data quality, standardize reporting, and draft quality policies and data definitions
- Help prepare for HRSA site visits and support quality, risk, and performance improvement committees
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, data science, health information, public health, or another health-related field, or an active RN or LPN license with equivalent experience
- 2 years of healthcare experience, which may include clinical practice (RN or LPN), data analysis related to healthcare, or quality reporting related to healthcare
- Working knowledge of UDS and HEDIS measures, or the ability to learn them quickly
- Experience extracting, analyzing, and reporting on data, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license in West Virginia
- FQHC or community health center experience, including UDS preparation
- Experience with care gap reporting and closure, such as payer gap files or a population health platform like Aledade or Azara
- Experience with EHR reporting, SQL, and tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Experience analyzing financial or operational data in a healthcare setting
