Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community
New Orleans, LA
Certified Apartment Staffing is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a multifamily apartment community in New Orleans, Louisiana. If you have apartment maintenance experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! HVAC certification is not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete service requests in occupied apartment homes
- Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs
- Complete apartment make-readies and prepare vacant units for new residents
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of apartment maintenance experience required
- Experience with general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
- HVAC experience is a plus, but certification is not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
