Job Description
The TIG Welder is responsible for performing precision welding, repair, and restoration of turbine components, valves, piping systems, and other critical industrial equipment using GTAW (TIG) processes. This role works primarily with stainless steel, Stellite hardfacing, and other specialty alloys, producing high-quality welds that meet OEM specifications, drawings, and welding procedures. The ideal candidate can interpret blueprints and weld symbols, perform fit-up and fabrication work, and maintain strict quality standards throughout the repair process.
Responsibilities
- Perform precision welding, repair, and restoration of turbine components, valves, and piping systems.
- Utilize GTAW (TIG) processes to work primarily with stainless steel, Stellite hardfacing, and other specialty alloys.
- Produce high-quality welds that meet OEM specifications, drawings, and welding procedures.
- Interpret blueprints and weld symbols for accurate welding and fabrication.
- Perform fit-up and fabrication work, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
- Support both shop and field service operations with a commitment to safety.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel, Stellite, Inconel, chrome-moly, and other high-alloy materials.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with valve repair, seat rebuilding, hardfacing, and component restoration.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
