Job Description
Help advance CATCH Global Foundation (“CATCH”) as an ed tech leader, delivering innovative digital health & wellness curricula to school districts worldwide. Annually, CATCH reaches over 4,000,000 kids with users in 30 countries and counting.CATCH is a nonprofit organization with the mission to empower educators with curriculum, training, and ongoing support to foster communities that thrive in mind, heart, and body. It offers evidence-based and evidence-informed programs and professional development in various content areas (health education, physical education, vaping prevention, Social Emotional Learning, whole child wellness, etc.). CATCH curriculum is delivered and managed via several web applications (e.g. CATCH.org, SEL Journeys) which together deliver approximately 500,000 lessons per school year. We are seeking a Technology Manager to lead development, maintenance, and support across our platforms and internal tech infrastructure.

In this role, you will work directly with our Senior Director of Technology & Design to:

- \n
- Manage an offshore development team (one primary developer) and ticketing system to execute feature builds, bug fixes, and platform maintenance
- Contribute to system architecture and application documentation
- Proactively identify and mitigate technology risks and solutions
- Participate in our Technology Advisory group which includes a member of our Board of Directors
- Work with a cybersecurity firm (on retainer) to harden cybersecurity posture
- Oversee AI governance & support AI adoption
- Manage hardware inventory, setup/wiping, and provisioning
- Configure and monitor Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) & email security software
- Configure user directory and roles
- Oversee web file storage and data backups
- Complete district DPAs and tech questionnaires
- Monitor tech stack health and track upcoming version updates
- Provide occasional internal tech support
- Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements
\n
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's in a technical field or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years managing technical staff (employees or contractors)
- Foundational knowledge of full-stack web development
- Experience with core IT operations a plus—e.g., hardware provisioning/lifecycle management, user directory/identity administration, endpoint security tools (EDR), etc.
- Cybersecurity certification and/or experience preferred
- Ability to oversee and coordinate complex projects independently and under deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

While our organization was founded in Austin TX, we are a 100% virtual work environment. We have regular in-person retreats (travel/lodging provided) to help us develop and grow together as a team, as well as get to know one another on a more personal level. Day-to-day, you can expect to interface with the rest of the CATCH team via video/voice calls, email, and Slack.

Salary: $80,000-85,000
\n
