Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring the reliable functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in manufacturing /industrial maintenance, and a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and maintenance procedures. As a key member of our maintenance management team, you will coordinate maintenance activities, maintain the machines, and implement strategies to optimize system performance and safety standards.
Duties
- Manage and supervise facilities maintenance to ensure timely completion of routine and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC systems, electrical systems (high and low voltage), plumbing, and other building infrastructure.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and analyze system performance.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues accurately.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by implementing safety protocols, conducting safety training sessions, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Coordinate projects involving facilities upgrades or repairs, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
- Perform inspections using technical knowledge of mechanical systems repair procedures to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for audit purposes and continuous improvement.
- Lead efforts in managing facilities maintenance management programs to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Develop and review preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience supervising facilities or industrial maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing system maintenance, and industrial equipment troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices for industrial environments.
- Experience utilizing CMMS platforms for work order management and reporting.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Certifications related to electrical systems or HVAC repair are preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams toward operational excellence.
