Role Description This full-time Maintenance Technician role is an on-site position located in Glen Burnie, MD. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance, repair, and inspection of building systems, equipment, and residential units to ensure safety, reliability, and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, completing work orders, and conducting preventive maintenance on equipment and common areas. The role involves responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner, coordinating with property management and vendors, maintaining clean and organized workspaces, and adhering to safety standards and company policies. The Maintenance Technician will also support unit turns, renovations, and special projects as needed.

- Demonstrated skills in Maintenance & Repair, including general building maintenance and residential unit repairs.
- Experience with Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliable operation of building systems.
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to identify root causes and effective solutions.
- Background in Industrial Maintenance or similar environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic tools, safety procedures, and relevant building codes; ability to read and follow maintenance instructions.
- Strong time management, organization, and communication skills; ability to prioritize multiple work orders.
- Comfort working on-site, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed for emergencies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus.
- Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities, or related fields preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet any applicable background and reference check requirements.
