Job Description

Job DescriptionDay in the life

Each shift starts at the bench. You power up assigned systems, perform baseline checks, and record exactly what you see—item condition, specs, and how every feature behaves. When a machine needs more punch, you swap in the right parts, from RAM to graphics cards to hard drives, aligning every change to project or customer requirements. You slip into the BIOS, set boot order, and confirm the system is configured to run as intended. Then you pivot to consumer electronics—resetting and testing smartphones, smart devices, car stereos, soundbars, and speakers—keeping throughput steady and documentation precise. Throughout, you maintain strong productivity and turnarounds with a professional, detail-first mindset.

Core responsibilities

  • Run baseline testing on assigned products; capture accurate notes on condition, specifications, and functionality.
  • Replace and upgrade components (RAM, graphics cards, hard drives) according to defined standards to meet project/customer needs.
  • Navigate system BIOS to designate boot sequences and verify configuration and system functionality.
  • Test and reset varied consumer electronics, including smartphones, smart devices, car stereos, soundbars, and speakers.
  • Uphold productive workflows and timely device turnarounds with professional communication and documentation.
