Job Description:

This is a true Enterprise Architect search and not a governance-only architecture role.
\n
The ideal candidate will:
\n

- Possess strong Enterprise Architecture experience with the ability to influence technology strategy and roadmaps.
- Have enough technical depth to engage with engineering teams, challenge designs, evaluate solutions, and discuss architecture tradeoffs.
- Demonstrate broad architectural exposure across multiple systems, business domains, applications, and integrations.
- Bring fresh ideas and expertise to complement the existing four-person Enterprise Architecture team.
- Have experience operating within both Enterprise Architecture and Business Architecture functions.
- Be comfortable balancing strategic planning with practical execution.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.

Technology Environment

- Microsoft-focused organization.
- Azure experience is preferred.
- Strong architectural fundamentals are more important than a specific technology stack.
- Candidates from Java-heavy environments can be considered if they have worked with Microsoft technologies during their career.
- Logistics or transportation industry experience is not required.

Delivery Focus

Target senior Enterprise Architects who can bridge business strategy, enterprise architecture, and technical execution. Prioritize candidates with demonstrated success driving enterprise-wide technology initiatives, modernizing platforms, partnering with engineering organizations, and influencing executive stakeholders. The strongest candidates will be capable of contributing immediately with minimal ramp-up time while bringing new architectural perspectives to the team.
