Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Description

This role requires a Maintenance Technician to work the 3rd shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, following a 12-hour shift template of 4 days on and 3 days off. The position is centered around maintaining and supporting product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity, focusing on power transmission mechanical components such as conveyors, gearboxes, and fluid transfer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and support of product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Respond to downtime situations to restore machine operations promptly.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all work cells and document performed maintenance accurately.
  • Evaluate and identify potential future maintenance needs and issues.
  • Execute process verification procedures and adhere to process deviation protocols when changing parameters.
  • Fabricate and repair/replace bearings, hydraulic pumps, cooling pumps, and similar equipment.
  • Maintain conveyors, belts, drives, and drive material transfers.

Essential Skills

  • Five years of experience in maintenance and preventive maintenance.
  • Three years of experience in hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
  • Three years of experience reading blueprints.
  • Proficiency in facilities maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with heavy mixing equipment.
  • Knowledge in automation.
  • Experience in automotive industry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cadillac, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.
