Manager, Technical Implementation and Client Solutions
Job Description
Manager, Technical Implementation and Client Solutions
\n
\n
Hands-on technical role. It is not a fit for project managers, program managers, or scrum masters.
\n
\n
About CloudLex
\n
CloudLex is a legal technology and AI company. For more than a decade we have built one connected eco-system for law firms: a cloud platform that runs the firm’s cases from start to finish, Lexee AI, which is purpose-built AI that reasons over the firm’s own case data, and Managed Services, where our specialists work alongside the firm’s team.
\n
\n
The role
\n
We are building a new department, and we are looking for the person who will lead it. The department owns everything that happens after a law firm signs with us: setup, configuration, data migration, go-live, training, support, and helping clients get more from the system over time. The team will be made up of Solution Engineers who solve client problems with technology, process, and AI.
\n
\n
This is a builder’s role (not an addministrator or coordinator role). We are looking for someone who configures the system, moves the data, and solves the client’s problem personally, not someone who coordinates the people who do or writes requirements for them.
\n
\n
What you will do
\n
- \n
- Build. Spend your first months with our technology and management teams learning: the platform, the solution, how the work flows, and how results are measured.
- Deliver. Lead client implementations personally at the start, hands on in the system, then with a team.
- Lead and manage. Lead a team of Solution Engineers who support you in running client engagements.
- Measure. Run the department on data: time to go-live, issue resolution, platform usage, and team workload. You build the trackers and reports yourself.
- Automate. Use AI to automate the department’s internal processes, to speed up and check data migrations, and to track and analyze how clients use the platform.
- Work across teams. Partner with technology, AI, and sales, and with colleagues in the US, Phillippines and India.

Who we are looking for
\n
This role is for you if your title today is something like Senior Implementation Consultant, Implementation Team Lead, Technical Implementation Manager, Professional Services Team Lead, Data Migration Lead, or Senior Solutions Consultant working with clients after the sale, and you are a team leader ready to become a manager.
\n
\n
- \n
- You have at least 5 years of post-sale implementation, professional services, or technical consulting experience.
- You have led a team on post-sale professional services or technical consulting projects: implementing business software, migrating client data, and leading clients through technical change, ideally for a system that clients run their operations on.
- You have done the technical work yourself: configuration, data migration, go-live, and client training. Experience limited to managing schedules, status, and stakeholders, running sprints, or gathering requirements is not what we are looking for.
- You have helped junior colleagues develop. Experience hiring or building a team from the start is welcome and not required.
- You analyze data personally and make decisions from it. You do not wait for an analyst.
- You are comfortable talking directly with a client’s business stakeholders and can handle a difficult conversation.
- You use AI in your own work and have built or automated something with it on your own initiative, ideally an internal process, a data migration, or usage reporting.
- Your education is technical, mathematical, or operational. That foundation is important to us.
- Project planning and agile credentials such as PMP or Certified ScrumMaster are not what we are looking for.
- No legal industry experience is required.

Compensation

Base salary of $105,000 to $130,000, plus a performance bonus.

\n
How to apply
\n
Apply with your resume. Add a short note with your resume file, 300 words or fewer, describing one process, implementation, or redesign engagement you led with a team you managed, ideally a technical process, a data migration, or a software implementation.
