Senior or Project Manager – General Contracting

A growing General Contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team, supporting a range of federal and government construction projects across the East Coast.
\n
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in federal contracting who is comfortable managing complex projects and travelling to jobsites as required.

Project sizes
\n
$500k to $50m - reno and ground up.
\n
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Manage projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout.
- Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, consultants and internal project teams.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, costs, change orders and procurement.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, risks and commercial issues.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, government and project-specific requirements.

Requirements:
\n

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial/general contracting.
- Strong federal or government construction experience is required.
- Experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexity.
- Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts and change management.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel to jobsites across the East Coast when required.
- Military, federal or government project experience is highly desirable.
