About the Role
\n
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support a Network Lifecycle Management (LCM) initiative for a leading enterprise client. The role will focus on network design, configuration, implementation, hardware/software upgrades, network changes, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
\n
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with LAN, WLAN, WAN, Cisco networking, network implementation, low-level design, and network documentation.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
• Collaborate with Technical Planners and Network Product Teams to develop Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for network implementations.
\n
• Prepare configurations for network devices based on approved designs and NCOS standards.
\n
• Implement network changes in accordance with customer change-management and Service Management processes.
\n
• Support network hardware implementations and software upgrades across LAN, WLAN, WAN, and Voice Gateway environments.
\n
• Provide post-implementation hypercare and troubleshooting support.
\n
• Work closely with Technical Project Managers, Technical Planners, network teams, vendors, and site stakeholders.
\n
• Update and maintain Visio network diagrams reflecting the current site topology, devices, and interconnections.
\n
• Maintain IP schemas and IP-addressing documentation for current configurations and future scalability.
\n
• Create and maintain rack-elevation diagrams, including equipment layout, cabling, power, and device information.
\n
• Collect and consolidate vendor system architecture diagrams and document connectivity/integration requirements.
\n
• Document Packet Broker connectivity involving technologies such as Gigamon, Nozomi, and Garland.
\n
• Support switch-type mapping and classification, including CSR and CSC requirements.
\n
• Maintain accurate network documentation throughout the lifecycle of implementations and upgrades.
\n
• Support project teams with technical coordination, reporting, documentation, and implementation activities.
\n
• Coordinate with onsite teams and vendors to ensure smooth implementation with minimal business disruption.
