Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician: Richmond, IllinoisOur customer in Richmond, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Maintenance Technicians to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, production equipment, and building infrastructure. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facility systems to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Install, maintain, and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, lighting systems, and other industrial equipment.
• Complete general building maintenance including painting, carpentry, drywall repairs, and facility upkeep.
• Read and follow blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals as needed.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facility maintenance environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay for Maintenance Technician: $24–$26/hour. Maintenance Technician Benefits:
