THE POSITION:
The Project Scheduler at Canyon State Electric plays a critical role in supporting the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects. This individual will develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion, while collaborating with estimators, project managers, field teams, and the recruitment team to secure the necessary manpower for project success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using industry-standard software, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Track project progress, identify delays or risks, and recommend solutions to maintain schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to coordinate labor needs, monitor workforce availability, and adjust manpower allocations as necessary.
- Generate regular reports, including Gantt charts, progress summaries, and critical path analyses, to keep stakeholders informed.
- Optimize resource allocation by coordinating labor, equipment, and materials to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Evaluate and improve scheduling processes, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and software advancements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience within the construction or electrical industry.
- Proficiency with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of construction project workflows, particularly in electrical systems.
- Experience in labor planning, workforce management, and resource allocation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with construction documents, critical path method (CPM) scheduling, and compliance standards.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (preferred).
Pay Ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 per year
