Job Summary:The Warehouse Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the physical assets and personnel of the warehouse facility during non-business hours. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring security systems, responding to alarms, and investigating and reporting any incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the warehouse interior and exterior, inspecting for signs of unauthorized access, vandalism, or suspicious activity.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, responding to any alerts promptly and taking appropriate action.
- Investigate security incidents, gather evidence, and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Control access to the warehouse, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
- Deter theft and vandalism by maintaining a visible security presence.
- Assist with emergency response procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date security logs and records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid security guard license.
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Strong physical and mental stamina.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and observation skills.
- Familiarity with security protocols and procedures.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
