Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Automation Lead Tester to lead automation testing initiatives, develop robust automation frameworks, and guide QA engineers in delivering high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor QA Automation Engineers.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web and API applications.
- Define automation strategy, test plans, and QA approach.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams.
- Review automation code and ensure quality standards.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results and troubleshoot automation failures.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and automation efficiency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Provide QA status, metrics, and testing reports.
Required Skills
- 8 years of experience in QA Automation/Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming experience in Java,
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with API Testing and REST/SOAP services.
- Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD.
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Jira or similar defect management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
