Job Description

Corporate Property Accountant

Location: Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121

Pay: $25–$26/hr (DOE)

Length: Contract to hire

We’re seeking a Corporate Property Accountant with hands-on property management accounting experience—not just general accounting. This role supports a growing property management portfolio and requires someone who understands the unique financial workflows of real estate operations.

What You’ll Do:

Full-cycle accounting for multiple properties
CAM reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
Monthly financial reporting
Bank reconciliations and balance sheet maintenance
Work closely with property managers and leadership

What We’re Looking For:

Accounting degree required
Property management accounting experience is a must
Strong understanding of property financials, ledgers, and reconciliations
Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, etc.)
Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple properties

Qualifications

Property management or real estate accounting experience required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with property management accounting software such as Yardi, AppFolio, Entrata, or CYMA
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
High attention to detail with strong organizational and math skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients
