About the Job
R&R Facilities is looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician / Handyman for our buildings in Gravette. We need someone who is hard-working, skilled with tools, and good at solving problems. If you like staying busy and taking care of property, this is the job for you.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and maintain construction sites, including clearing debris and hazards, as well as loading and unloading materials
- Perform general construction tasks, such as digging trenches, compacting earth, and building or dismantling structures like scaffolding and barricades
- Assist skilled craft workers like contractors, electricians, and painters as needed
- Install, maintain, and repair ventilation systems and equipment for R&R facilities/campuses
- Perform monthly maintenance and safety checks in buildings, machinery, and equipment to keep facilities in OSHA compliance.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
- Comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines
- Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations
- Other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of handyman or maintenance work is preferred
- You know how to use power tools and construction/heavy equipment safely
- You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for long periods
- You must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- You must follow safety rules (OSHA/EPA) to keep yourself and others safe
- You should be able to work some weekends or holidays if we need extra help
