Job Description

Job Description

Cloud Security Analyst (Azure | AWS | GCP)

Location: West Hills, Covina or City of Orange

Protect a true multi-cloud environment, all three platforms, one team.

Most cloud security roles keep you in one platform. This one doesn’t. Our client runs production workloads across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, and they need a security analyst who can protect all three. You’ll compare security approaches across platforms, close gaps between them, and build skills few security professionals get the chance to develop. If you’ve worked in more than one cloud and want a role that uses all of it, keep reading.

Why this role matters

Attackers look for weak spots where platforms meet: inconsistent identity rules, misconfigured storage, and logging that doesn’t connect across clouds. This team needs someone who sees the whole picture across Azure, AWS and GCP, not one piece of it. Experience in all three platforms is required, and it’s what will set you apart here.

What you’ll do

  • Monitor and respond to security alerts across Azure, AWS and GCP.
  • Find and fix misconfigurations, risky access and policy gaps in all three clouds.
  • Manage identity and access security, including Entra ID, AWS IAM and Google Cloud IAM, with least privilege and MFA.
  • Use and tune cloud security tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty and Security Hub, and Google Security Command Center.
  • Investigate incidents, document findings, and recommend lasting fixes.
  • Help keep the environment aligned with security frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Work with engineering and IT teams to build security into new cloud projects.

What you bring

  • 3+ years in cloud security, security operations or a related role. [Adjust to client’s requirement.]
  • Hands-on security experience in all three platforms: Azure, AWS and GCP.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management, network security and cloud logging.
  • Experience with a SIEM, preferably Microsoft Sentinel, and with incident response.
  • Clear communicator who can explain risks to technical and non-technical teammates.
  • Must be based in California and able to work on-site at [worksite].

Nice to have

  • Certifications such as AZ-500, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
  • Experience with multi-cloud security tools like Wiz, Prisma Cloud or Orca.
  • Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, KQL).
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or similar tools.

What’s in it for you

  • Rare multi-cloud experience: Work across all three major cloud platforms in one role, which makes your skills more valuable over time.
  • Real impact: Your work directly protects production systems.
  • Growth: Build expertise employers have trouble finding.
  • [Add benefits: health coverage, PTO, 401(k), training or certification support, etc.]
