As a Project Manager 2 / Superintendent 3, you will lead construction efforts, ensuring safety, budget compliance, and schedule performance in a high-security nuclear facility. Your work will directly support scientific advancement and federal mission delivery in one of the nation's most unique operational environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage projects up to $500K and oversee Superintendent 2sServe as Control Account Manager (CAM), managing budget, schedule, and scope performanceCoordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain project progressPresent project performance updates to federal sponsorsConduct investigations into abnormal events, incidents, and accidents, and assist in corrective action plansPerform variance analysis and develop corrective action plans for cost and schedule variancesLead constructability reviews and interface with stakeholdersEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, security, and configuration management requirementsPromote teamwork and open communication across trades and departmentsRequired QualificationsAt least 10 years of experience in engineering, procurement, or construction5+ years managing construction projects with scope, schedule, and budget oversightDemonstrated experience in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)Experience in construction within a nuclear environmentAbility to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematicsStrong communication and leadership skillsAble to meet physical demands, including lifting, standing, and stair climbingDesired QualificationsExperience leading teams under collective bargaining agreementsExperience with facility maintenance, D&D, or upgrade projectsProficiency in risk identification and mitigation strategiesExperience using computerized work management systemsStrong understanding of lock-out/tag-out policies and facility control systemsDemonstrated customer engagement and issue resolution capabilitiesEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferredEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
