This is a 3-month contract with possible additional work in the near future. Can work 100 percent remote. Must be authorized to work in the US.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate with a proven background in building data pipelines, developing analytics solutions, and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. The ideal candidate has at least two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years working with Python and/or Scala, along with strong SQL skills for data modeling, transformation, and analysis. This role will support enterprise reporting, dashboard development, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data pipelines using Python and/or Scala to support analytics, reporting, and data integration needs.

• Write and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality BI solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (current certification).

• Two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years developing data pipelines and analytics solutions using Python and/or Scala.

• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL for data transformation, modeling, and analysis.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
