Salon Cleaner – 1099 Independent Contractor

We are seeking a reliable and experienced cleaner to provide cleaning services for a children's salon in Stockbridge, GA or the Cascade/Atlanta, GA location.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for children, parents, and salon staff.

Salon cleaning experience is not required. Training will be provided on the salon's specific cleaning procedures and expectations.

Schedule & Pay

• Wednesday through Sunday
• Monday and Tuesday nights off
• Evening/night cleaning
• Contractor may arrive at any time during the evening
• Cleaning must be completed by 12:00 AM
• Most major holidays are off when they fall on scheduled cleaning nights
• $20 per completed cleaning/night
• Paid biweekly every other Friday
• Approximately $100 per week when all 5 scheduled cleanings are completed
• Ongoing assignment

Cleaning Duties

• Sweep and mop salon floors
• Remove hair and debris from floors and work areas
• Clean and disinfect salon stations and surfaces
• Clean mirrors and glass
• Dust and wipe down surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Disinfect high-touch areas
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the salon
• Complete all assigned cleaning duties during each scheduled cleaning

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional cleaning experience
• Salon cleaning experience is not required
• Must provide your own cleaning supplies and equipment
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and consistent
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Available Wednesday through Sunday evenings
• Able to complete cleaning by 12:00 AM
• Must provide at least 2 professional references
• Must successfully complete a background check before starting
• Comfortable working in a children's salon environment
• Willing to complete salon-specific training

Independent Contractor

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. The contractor is responsible for providing their own cleaning supplies and equipment and may work for other clients or businesses.
