A leading residential property management company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations for a multifamily residential community.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, unit turns, and general property maintenance. The ideal candidate can effectively lead a maintenance team while still being comfortable troubleshooting and completing repairs in the field.
The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in maintaining property standards, responding to resident needs, coordinating preventive maintenance, and ensuring the community remains safe, clean, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support the property's maintenance team.
- Inspect, diagnose, install, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, leaks, pipes, and blockages.
- Troubleshoot and complete repairs involving HVAC, electrical systems, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and other building systems.
- Coordinate and complete vacant unit turns to prepare apartments for new residents.
- Perform daily inspections of buildings, grounds, common areas, and amenities.
- Maintain the community's swimming pool and hot tub, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Prioritize and complete service requests efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Identify maintenance and safety concerns before they become larger issues.
- Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, contractors, and property management.
- Maintain a strong focus on resident satisfaction and customer service.
✅ Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of hands-on property, facility, apartment, or residential building maintenance experience.
- Previous experience supervising maintenance technicians or operational teams.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of plumbing repair and fixture maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and service requests.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced property environment.

Compensation
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
