Hands-on maintenance role in HEXA’s La Porte manufacturing facility

What You’ll Do
\n
As a Maintenance Tech, you keep HEXA’s La Porte manufacturing facility running. You perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment across the floor — and when something goes down, you’re the one who gets it back up. You report directly to the Operations Manager and work alongside the Production team every day.

- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to schedule — catch issues before they cause downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
- Respond quickly to equipment failures and get production back up as fast as safely possible
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues — fix the problem, not just the symptom
- Support basic welding and fabrication work as needed
- Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose and repair
- Keep accurate maintenance records and equipment history
- Maintain tools, workspace, and equipment areas in clean, organized, working condition
- Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements — no shortcuts

This is a hands-on role. You will be on the floor. You will be under the equipment. And when something goes wrong, you’re the person the team is counting on.

Lead Maintenance Tech — For techs who prove they can carry more than their own work.
\n
The Lead Tech takes point on complex repairs, mentors newer techs, and sets the standard for the team. The natural next seat for a tech who’s already the one others come to with questions.
\n
\n
Maintenance Supervisor — For techs who prove they can develop other people, not just equipment.
\n
The Supervisor runs the schedule, coordinates with Production, and coaches the maintenance team day-to-day. A step into real people leadership.
\n
\n
Maintenance Manager — For techs who prove they can run the floor and the numbers.
\n
The Manager owns the full preventive maintenance program, the maintenance budget, and the reliability of the whole facility. The seat where you’re accountable for uptime across the operation.

Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance or a related trade preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems required. Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals required. Must live within 20 miles of our La Porte facility.
