Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to support and strengthen security operations within a manufacturing environment in New Castle, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on protecting systems, assessing risk, and helping maintain alignment with recognized security frameworks and compliance expectations. The ideal candidate brings practical experience with vulnerability management, access control, and network security technologies while using a methodical, data-driven approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and evaluate the security posture of systems and networks to identify risks, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments with industry-standard scanning tools and help coordinate remediation efforts based on risk and business impact.
• Administer and support privileged access controls to help safeguard sensitive accounts and critical infrastructure.
• Review firewall and network security configurations, including platforms such as Check Point and Cisco ASA, to maintain effective protection and access management.
• Contribute to configuration management practices that promote secure, consistent, and well-documented system settings.
• Analyze security findings, trends, and operational data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with applicable cybersecurity frameworks and standards relevant to regulated environments.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to recommend and implement security measures that reduce exposure and support business operations.• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information systems, or a closely related field.
• Working knowledge of core information security concepts, controls, technologies, and accepted industry practices.
• Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks such as NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and similar standards.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning solutions such as Nessus or equivalent tools.
• Experience working with privileged access or privileged account management platforms.
• Understanding of firewall technologies and network security controls, including exposure to Check Point and Cisco ASA environments.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret findings and perform security-related analysis.
• Experience with configuration management in support of secure and reliable IT operations.
