We’re looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of equipment and facilities across MPW operations. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general repairs to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) inspections on equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems to maintain functionality and reduce downtime.
  • Complete basic electrical maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and component replacement.
  • Conduct general equipment repairs using hand tools and standard maintenance practices.
  • Perform manual repairs such as fixing structures, components, or mechanical parts as needed.
  • Maintain overall facility upkeep, including routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
  • Assist with diagnosing equipment issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support temporary field assignments to maintain and repair equipment at remote job sites.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company policies.
  • Document maintenance activities, inspections, and completed work as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance preferred.
  • 1–2 years of maintenance, technical school, or hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, equipment repair, and mechanical systems; electrical experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended 8–12 hour shifts, and performing repetitive motions.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces or at varying heights while performing maintenance tasks.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE, including respirators, and work in environments with exposure to chemicals, fumes, industrial noise, and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to travel to field locations for extended periods (days to weeks) and work schedules that may exceed standard 8-hour shifts, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Strong awareness of safety practices and ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty in active work environments.
