If you’re the person who remembers the deadline, checks the details, and makes sure everyone has the latest update, you already understand an important part of project coordination.

We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Dayton team. Working alongside project managers, you’ll help organize schedules, coordinate information, and follow up on the tasks that move projects toward completion.

You’ll have responsibilities of your own, plus guidance when you need it. This is an opportunity to build practical project experience while contributing to the team’s daily work.

How You’ll Help Projects Progress

- Keep the plan current: Update schedules, task lists, milestones, and project trackers as work progresses.
- Connect the people involved: Share information between internal teams, clients, suppliers, and other project contacts.
- Make meetings useful: Arrange meetings, prepare materials, record decisions, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Stay ahead of deadlines: Check outstanding requirements and flag missing information or potential delays.
- Organize the details: Maintain accurate documents, correspondence, reports, and shared project files.
- Support delivery: Help track resources, expenses, and materials against agreed requirements.
- Finish thoroughly: Assist with final checks, handover information, and post-project documentation.

When priorities change, you’ll help communicate the updates and make sure the next steps are clear.

Your Experience May Already Fit
\n
Previous project coordination, administration, operations, business support, or event experience is helpful. We also welcome applicants who’ve developed relevant skills through customer-facing work, internships, volunteering, or academic projects.
\n
Whether you’re entering the workforce in Dayton or moving from another field, we’re interested in your ability to organize work and follow through. A particular degree or project management certification isn’t required.

You’ll need:

- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Good attention to detail and reliable follow-up.
- Confidence managing several tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, calendars, email, and documents.
- A practical approach to problems and willingness to ask questions.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work in Dayton.

Learn Through the Work
\n
Training will cover company systems, project processes, and reporting procedures. You’ll gain experience in scheduling, stakeholder communication, and tracking delivery while learning how project managers assess priorities and handle changes.

As you become familiar with the work, you’ll have opportunities to take on additional coordination responsibilities.
