Performing janitorial duties for selected areas within the Mill & Water Recycling Facility. Quality customer service will be provided at all times. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential. Must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Vacuuming, sweeping & mopping of floors
- Clean & sanitize bathrooms & locker rooms
- Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves & refrigerators
- Restock supplies in bathrooms and common areas
- Empty all trashcans & replace liners, clean receptacles as needed
- Dusting & cleaning offices office desks & furniture
- Shampoo carpets & chairs
- Clean walls, windows & windowsills
- Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized & safe manner
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe & operable condition
- All other duties as assigned
Essential Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of six (6) months related work experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively as a team.
- Must be able to follow oral & written instructions as well as prioritize multiple tasks; ability to work independently.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products.
