Job Title: Data Center Superintendent

Job Description

As a Data Center Superintendent, you will oversee and manage the department, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring quality and safety are upheld on all projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing process improvements and training procedures to meet target metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and lead a team, managing workload distribution and performance evaluations.
  • Serve as the customer's point of contact, ensuring quality and safety on projects and seeing them through to completion.
  • Identify, build, and implement project process improvements.
  • Implement training procedures, instructing new operators on SOPs to meet target metrics.

Essential Skills

  • Exceptional critical thinking and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading teams of technicians inside data centers.
  • Ability to manage technicians, solve operational issues, and communicate with cross-functional teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of supervisory or managerial experience with multiple direct reports.
  • 5+ years in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
  • Experience in establishing site culture and enforcing quality standards.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project) and adaptability to new project management systems.
  • High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing facility located near Nellis Air Force Base. The work environment is open shift, providing flexibility in working hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Forest City, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Forest City,NC.
