Title: Full Time Assistant Property Manager - USDA
Reports to: Property Manager
Job location: Holyoke, MA and Lord Jeffery Apts. 121 N. Main Street, Belchertown, MA 01007
Full time Assistant Property Manager needed for busy rental offices in Holyoke and Belchertown. Knowledge of HUD or USDA procedures preferred, but will provide training. Responsible for determining tenant eligibility in accordance with federal regulations. Two years of office experience preferred.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare and supply tenant’s with required annual certification notice(s) and information.
- Interview tenants and document family composition, income, assets, deductions and other information as required
- Collect all necessary third-party verifications.
- Determine eligibility, calculate income allowances, assets and rents.
- Coordinate and prepare annual lease renewals and income certifications.
- Help market vacant units and work closely with Property Manager on all administrative and compliance tasks.
- Assist with resolving tenant issue. Communicate company rules and regulations to tenants.
- Communicate with tenants, housing authorities and other government and housing/finance agencies and organizations.
- Other assigned duties essential for daily operations and other duties assigned by Regional Property Manager or Property Manager.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $58,000 based on education and experience

Job Requirements:
High school diploma, Associate degree or work-related experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Drug and background check mandatory. EOE
