We are a growingconstruction companyseeking a highly organized and detail-orientedPermitting Assistantto support our Permitting Lead in the pre-development phase of projects. This role is essential to ensuring that projects move smoothly through the permitting process and meet all municipal and regulatory requirements on time.

The Permitting Assistant willcoordinate with survey companies, architects, engineers, and internal teams, submit plans and documents to municipalities, review requirements, and help keep development timelines on track. This role requires someone who isdetail-oriented, proactive, and able to communicate effectivelyacross multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Permitting Lead in managing project development and permitting tasks
  • Submit plans, documents, and applications tomunicipalities and regulatory agencies
  • Coordinate withsurvey companies, architects, engineers, and internal departmentsto ensure requirements are met
  • Review plans and documentation to ensurecity codes, regulations, and compliance standardsare being adhered to
  • Track project timelines and ensure the permitting process ison schedule
  • Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, and communications
  • Facilitate communication between internal departments to ensureproject progression and completion timeframesare met
  • Identify potential issues or delays in the permitting process andpropose solutions
  • Support continuous improvement in permitting workflows and documentation
