The Shores, a United Methodist Communities (UMC) senior living campus in Ocean City, is hiring a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician. You'll keep the community running for residents who call it home, handling everything from a leaky faucet to routine equipment upkeep, in a community that's been Certified as a Great Place to Work for nine years running.
What You'll Do
- Handle day-to-day repairs across the community: building systems, minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Respond quickly to resident and staff service requests
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment and mechanical systems running reliably
- Complete work orders and inspection records in the maintenance tracking system
- Track maintenance supplies and help coordinate ordering and storage
- Spot and flag safety issues to help keep the community clean and secure
What You'll Need
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Schedule
Full-time. Choose from:
- Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with weekend and holiday rotation
- Monday–Friday, 11am–7pm or 12pm–8pm, with weekend and holiday rotation
