Our client, a leading Chicago-based General Contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead business development efforts and oversee construction projects within the Food & Beverage and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial construction, an established book of business, and experience securing new contracts while leading successful project execution.

Responsibilities

- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Food & Beverage and industrial construction markets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key industry decision-makers.
- Leverage an established book of business to generate revenue and meet annual sales goals.
- Oversee ground-up construction, cold storage facilities, major renovations, and industrial expansions.
- Manage project performance, including budgets, schedules, profitability, and risk.
- Lead project teams and ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in contract negotiations, project proposals, and bidding opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events and professional organizations.
- Expand existing client accounts and develop long-term business partnerships.

Qualifications
\n

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of construction industry experience.
- Experience in Food & Beverage, cold storage, or industrial construction.
- Proven business development experience with a strong book of business.
- Background in ground-up construction and major renovations.
- Experience managing large-scale projects and construction teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, financial management, and contract negotiations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
