Job DescriptionCommercial Employees is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a recycling facility located in North Charleston. This is a hands-on role in an industrial environment—perfect for someone who knows their way around machines and wants consistent hours without overnight shifts with a pay rate of $25hr. Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders
  • Assist with installation of new machines or components

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience (industrial preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required
