Job Description

Hyundai Eng America, Inc. (HEA) is seeking an experienced Property & Facilities Manager to oversee property and facility operations at Hyundai Rio Vista, Inc. (RVT) in San Diego, CA.

This is a full-time, on-site position combining Property Management and Facilities Management responsibilities.

📍 Location: San Diego, CA

\n

💰 Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year

\n

🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

\n

💼 Employment: Full-time | On-site

\n

🌐 Language: Korean & English bilingual proficiency required

\n


\n

ABOUT THE ROLE

\n

As the Property & Facilities Manager, you will serve as the primary on-site representative responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the property.

\n

You will oversee building operations, tenant support, vendors and contractors, budgets, safety and compliance, and capital improvement projects while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and professional workplace.

\n


\n

WHAT YOU’LL DO

\n

🏢 Property & Facility Operations

\n

• Oversee daily property and facility operations and maintenance

\n

• Serve as the primary on-site contact for tenants, stakeholders, and service providers

\n

• Manage key building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systems

\n

• Coordinate preventive maintenance and corrective repairs

\n

• Conduct facility inspections and monitor property conditions

\n

• Support asset preservation and property improvement initiatives

\n


\n

🤝 Vendor & Contractor Management

\n

• Manage security, janitorial, landscaping, pest control, and other service providers

\n

• Review contracts and monitor vendor performance

\n

• Coordinate contractor activities and on-site work schedules

\n

• Monitor service quality, costs, and contract compliance

\n


\n

🛠️ Capital Projects

\n

• Support building renovations, repairs, and capital improvement projects

\n

• Coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendors

\n

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality

\n

• Manage punch lists, project closeout, and turnover activities

\n


\n

📊 Budget & Reporting

\n

• Support and monitor OPEX and CAPEX budgets

\n

• Review invoices and analyze operating costs

\n

• Prepare operational and project status reports

\n

• Identify cost-saving and operational improvement opportunities

\n


\n

🦺 Safety & Compliance

\n

• Support compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety requirements

\n

• Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments

\n

• Coordinate incident response and corrective actions

\n

• Support emergency preparedness and response activities

\n


\n

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

\n

✓ 5+ years of Property Management and/or Facilities Management experience

\n

✓ Experience managing contractors and service providers

\n

✓ Experience with budgeting, cost control, and project coordination

\n

✓ Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

\n

✓ Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (written and verbal) required

\n


\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field

\n

• Commercial office building management experience

\n

• Industrial or manufacturing facility experience

\n

• CAPEX / Capital Improvement Project experience

\n
