Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving a wide range of industrial equipment and facility systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple maintenance disciplines, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, boiler, and preventative maintenance, with the ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and boiler equipment.
- Respond to maintenance work orders and prioritize repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Support the installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and facility improvements.
- Assist with developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan and execute maintenance projects, including obtaining material and cost estimates.
- Fabricate, modify, and repair equipment components as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation.
- Support quality improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Follow company safety standards, quality requirements, and audit procedures.
- Identify unsafe conditions and proactively promote a safe working environment.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to other maintenance team members.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and work independently.
- High School Diploma or GED.
