Job Description

Hello! We are a talented team of custom SaaS builders, looking to add a project/delivery manager. You'll work with clients to help plan projects, ensure quality deliverables, and interact regularly with both developers and clients. This is a non-technical role (you will have plenty of developers to back you up), but we need someone comfortable with using, learning, training, and proposing custom software features all day, every day.

Since 2008, Fixation has specialized in building custom SaaS solutions for both startups and established businesses. Our highly experienced team builds scalable applications, working with clients from initial concept through successful deployment and beyond. We have recently expanded to support our growing customer base--all of our clients are successful, growing businesses because of the custom platforms we build for them. Located in Omaha, NE, we are a mix of local and remote staff. This role requires a local presence (see below).


The Role

We're looking for a dynamic Project/Delivery Manager to lead client engagements, drive requirements gathering, and serve as the quality gate for all deployments. This role is hybrid: we would like to see you in our office weekly, so you can connect with your team and with clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to gather and document requirements for SaaS applications
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations
  • Critique and review mockups with clients
  • Give demos, collect feedback
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Support project developer leads with any non-technical work
  • Coordinate between development teams, QA, and clients
  • Perform final QA/UAT before showing our work to clients to ensure it matches the requirements


Required Experience

  • 3+ years contributing as QA or PM on software development projects
  • Experience leading daily stand-ups and client meetings
  • Proven ability to gather and document requirements for custom software
  • History of successful SaaS project delivery
  • Experience working with QA processes and teams
  • Proven problem-solver and self-organizer
