Development & Partnerships Coordinator (Vista)

Friends of Baseball



Position Purpose

The Development & Partnerships Coordinator (VISTA) will build the systems, relationships, and infrastructure that help Friends of Baseball grow its impact and sustainability. The position focuses on donor engagement, partnership development, fundraising campaign support, and organizational capacity building to expand access to youth development opportunities for underserved youth.



Key Responsibilities

Donor Engagement & Stewardship

  • Develop and maintain donor tracking systems and engagement pipelines
  • Support donor stewardship processes and communications
  • Organize donor data and engagement records
  • Assist in developing recurring giving and donor retention strategies


Fundraising Campaign Support

  • Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising campaigns
  • Develop campaign materials and outreach tools
  • Track campaign performance and engagement metrics
  • Support implementation of annual giving initiatives


Partnership Development

  • Research and identify prospective corporate, community, and institutional partners
  • Develop partnership outreach materials
  • Maintain partnership tracking systems
  • Support relationship-building and stewardship efforts


Development Systems & Infrastructure

  • Improve internal systems that support fundraising and partnerships
  • Create reporting tools and dashboards
  • Organize development resources and documentation
  • Support long-term sustainability planning

  • Ability to work independently
  • Interest in nonprofit development, fundraising, partnerships, or community engagement
  • Experience with spreadsheets, databases, CRM systems, or project management tools preferred



Education

  • Some college or equivalent experience preferred
  • Degree not required
