Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting production issues, monitoring applications, and ensuring high availability of cloud-based services. The candidate should possess strong analytical and communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Manage cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Support deployment and release activities.
- Investigate application logs and identify root causes of issues.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to resolve technical problems.
- Perform system health checks and infrastructure maintenance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in on-call support rotations when required.
- Recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
Required Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, Load Balancers).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with ticketing tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Administrator, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
