Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionWolff Properties is seeking a dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician with at least two years of hands-on experience in the multifamily industry. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment• Turn units for move-in, including light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work• Diagnose and repair major household appliances, including refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, and washers/dryers• Troubleshoot and perform basic to intermediate HVAC repairs, including filter changes, thermostat replacements, and minor system diagnostics• Maintain daily pool operations in accordance with health and safety standards• Preserve the property's curb appeal, cleanliness, and functionality• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and maintenance shops• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
REQUIREMENTS• Minimum 2 years of multifamily/apartment maintenance experience• Must provide own tools• EPA Universal certification preferred• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred• Ability to work independently and under the direct supervision of the Property Manager• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
