Job DescriptionJanitor / General MaintenancePay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overtime: Some overtime may be required as needed.
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout a steel and metal manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, restrooms, and common areas while following all facility safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors throughout the facility.
- Remove trash, debris, and scrap materials from designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness around production equipment and warehouse workspaces.
- Assist with general housekeeping throughout the steel and metal facility.
- Keep walkways, workstations, and designated areas free of clutter and obstructions.
- Refill cleaning supplies, restroom products, and other facility necessities.
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Follow all safety procedures when working around machinery, metal materials, and production areas.
- Perform additional cleaning and general maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a steel and metal manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Must follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
