About Our Client
Our Client operates a top-tier aviation maintenance hub at Centennial Airport, widely recognized for excellence in general aviation, fleet service, and high-quality aircraft upkeep. They pride themselves on a collaborative, safe, and professional hangar environment where safety and strict FAA regulatory compliance guide every shift.
This is an organization that deeply values loyalty and long-term commitment. They actively look to promote from within, making this the ideal home for a leader looking to plant roots and continuously climb the ranks within a single stable company. As they expand, they are seeking a top-level, authoritative Assistant Director of Aviation Maintenance (ADOM) to act as a key leadership pillar. Working directly alongside the Director of Maintenance (DOM), you will lead by example, supervise an exceptional team of technicians, manage complex workflow schedules, and seamlessly step in to run operations in the DOM's absence.
The Role: General Responsibilities
The ADOM serves as a direct operational leader, maintaining quality control, tracking aircraft downtime, and ensuring the facility ticks like clockwork.
Key Duties:
-
Maintenance Operations Management: Coordinate daily maintenance activities, assign tasks, optimize aircraft turnaround times, and track work-order progress within budget.
-
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure absolute compliance with FAA regulations, manage documentation, and directly support the maintenance of company quality manuals and internal audits.
-
Personnel Leadership and Development: Provide direct daily supervision to technicians, evaluate performance, assist with technical training, and mentor junior mechanics to build a culture of accountability.
-
Customer and Client Relations: Act as a professional representative to provide clear maintenance updates, technical explanations, and cost estimates to customers and vendors.
-
Acting Director of Maintenance: Assume the responsibilities and authority of the Director of Maintenance during periods of absence or delegation.
