Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee daily maintenance operations, ensure timely completion of work orders, maintain property systems, and support a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. The role requires strong hands-on maintenance skills, with HVAC experience and the ability to lead and coordinate maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily maintenance activities and coordinate work assignments.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general building systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to resident work orders promptly.
- Support apartment turns, make-ready work, inspections, and property upkeep.
- Monitor maintenance supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with safety standards and property requirements.
- Identify and report property, safety, and equipment issues to management.
- Maintain accurate work-order and maintenance records.
- Support and train maintenance team members while ensuring quality and timely completion of work.
- Provide professional and courteous service to residents and team members.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of multifamily or apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- HVAC certification required/preferred.
- EPA certification required/preferred.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general maintenance.
- Previous maintenance lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, work orders, and apartment turns.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to work independently and lead a maintenance team.
- Availability to respond to emergencies and work weekends when required.
