Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee daily maintenance operations, ensure timely completion of work orders, maintain property systems, and support a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. The role requires strong hands-on maintenance skills, with HVAC experience and the ability to lead and coordinate maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily maintenance activities and coordinate work assignments.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general building systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to resident work orders promptly.
  • Support apartment turns, make-ready work, inspections, and property upkeep.
  • Monitor maintenance supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Ensure maintenance work complies with safety standards and property requirements.
  • Identify and report property, safety, and equipment issues to management.
  • Maintain accurate work-order and maintenance records.
  • Support and train maintenance team members while ensuring quality and timely completion of work.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to residents and team members.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of multifamily or apartment maintenance experience preferred.
  • HVAC certification required/preferred.
  • EPA certification required/preferred.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general maintenance.
  • Previous maintenance lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance, work orders, and apartment turns.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a maintenance team.
  • Availability to respond to emergencies and work weekends when required.
