Xpressdocs is currently seeking an Entry Level Application Developer to join our Fort Worth-based team. Good Verbal and written communications skills are required for the position. We are willing to train the right candidate.
The right candidate for this role is a self-motivated individual who likes solving challenging problems, is a voracious learner, has a ‘best practices’ mindset and believes that teamwork is an essential component to success.
In this position, you will:
- Work on building and supporting Xpressdocs applications.
- Follow the Agile process, learning the technologies in use, and building our applications, which range from user-facing web applications, cloud-based automated marketing software, design and customization tools, data integrations with third parties, ecommerce transactions, medium scale data processing, reporting, etc.
- Learn and develop your software design, coding, and troubleshooting skills.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Quality Assurance team to coordinate resolution of reported bugs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in a computing field preferred
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP or Java using OOP principles.
- Experience with HTML, and CSS.SCSS is a plus.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ReactJS and Symphony. Wordpress is a plus.
- Client-server programming using REST. Web sockets are a plus.
- Familiarity with database and SQL.
- Familiarity with data structures in JSON and XML
- Experience with source control using GIT.
- Knowledge of effective testing and debugging practices.
- Comfortable using AI to help debug and generate code.
- Knowledge of Linux OS and an understanding of how the Internet and its various components work.
